Here is another M2 Auto-Thentics car, a 1957 Ford Fairlane in two-tone green.  I have always liked the 1957 Ford Fairlane, and this is one of my favorite Ford color schemes.

Have it, love it Ed. Castline also did the 57  but without the opening features which means a more realistic model without the oversized shut lines.

@bob-jackman

What was the relationship between M2 and Castline? I have the impression that M2 was a product line by Castlne, but not sure if that is correct.

Ed, I don't know but I always thought they were tied together as well. Anyone know?

I think my Auto-thentics cars tend to just say "Castline" underneath their chassis. I generally don't have the clear-plastic bubble package for them anymore, but maybe it was just on that hang-card package where it says "M2 Machines" and "Auto-thentics".

I see Ed's picture's show on the card "Copyright Castline and M2 Machines", so perhaps "Auto-thentics" is a line or sub-series done by M2 Machines for their parent company Castline, in possibly OEM factories contracted for them in mainland Asian/Chinese factories. (who perhaps may also be contracted to do Greenlight '50's-'60's-'70's American cars !

Lol, if the end result is a fine selection of really nice models at affordable prices, hey, they can get as complex as they want with business and production arrangements !
