I took a couple quick pictures to show and to see if I could add pictures to my post. I think it worked. Thanks John Kuvakas ! These are my complete 1970 Matchbox Superfast collection in an Original Matchbox store display cabinet that was purchased from the local hobby store that was located in Corvallis OR. In the second picture you can see I have all of the original boxes for these cars, as well as some duplicates and other things. One of the coolest features of this Matchbox store display case is the locking feature it has for the sliding doors in the back. This is the only case I have seen that still has that feature present and working. Pretty cool ! I will try to take more pictures of my 1/64 collection as I am able. Thank You !
Nice!!

Randy, that is a phenomenal display, and a quite valuable asset currently and likely to get more so. Thanks for sharing. We look forward to even more from you when you are ready.
How great is that! Thanks for the pics/info Randy....keep 'em coming! 😀Â
Impressive collection, and thanks for pictures. What is a Matchbox Super-fast model?

@ed-davis Around 1970 Matchbox went from Regular wheels / tires to Superfast wheels/tires so most Matchbox 1/64 cars were called Superfast because of the wheels. They also came out with new cars as well which were still numbered cars 1 thru 75. They also had Transitional Superfast cars as well. Those cars had thinner wheels. If you collect these the Transitional Superfast usually will cost you more as they did not make a lot. I am not an expert on any of this, it is just stuff I learned from collecting them. Part of the change came about because of the Hot Wheels Redline success. Matchbox wanted to keep up, just like coke and pepsi !
