Here's a neat little 1/64 '71 Van by M2.
I repainted the all black interior a light tan so that it would standout a bit better and removed some kind of goofy lower front spoiler. I have an idea on how to fabricate steerable front wheels (with minimal effort ) however, I'm too lazy to do it now. 🙄 😔
I love the color scheme and the tiny TAMPO graphics are quite nice. Not bad for $4 😉 😉 👍 👍

Your pictures clearly point out why 1/64 scale is on fire. Great models for pocket change although some are becoming quite expensive. Thanks Chris.

Nice van model. Besides nice models for “pocket change”, another reason for their popularity is availability. You can find them at Target, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, etc.

@ed-davis Very true...... that's precisely what I did while shopping yesterday. I thumbed through a peg hook and spotted this van - something I was unaware of. I thought it looked pretty cool and, well..... the rest is history.
Furthermore, I can display 1/64 models anywhere WITHOUT adjusting other replicas and/or shelves. 👍 👍 👍

Thanks Ken. That carrier was fabricated by me, a few years back, along with those four modified M2 '57 Fords (lowered, painted rims, side windows, etc... ).
LSS: When I fabricated that carrier, I FOOLISHLY did so without having ALL necessary reference photos handy but once I had them, however, I realized several areas were proportionally incorrect resulting in me pausing the project. 😖 😞
I hope to re-start it one day using ultra-thin brass for greater scale realism ensuring accurate scale fidelity! 👍 👍

@chris If you do decide to re-make the carrier, you might want to make more than one. I suspect some folks here would like to buy one.

@grockwood I believe the black Lincoln is the one made by MiniGT. They made several color variations. For the money, it is an excellent value.

@ed-davis Correct! MINI GT even made one that perfectly matched my 1:1 that I owned for many years, but the Pan-American Mexican Road Race version is also VERY cool and accurate - except for the skirts - which I removed. 👍 👍 👍
