I received the 1/64 Mini GT brand 1971 Mustang Mach I today and was really pleased with the quality of detail.  I highly recommend it!  Here are the ebay pics.

I have all the color variations of the 1954 Lincoln Capri as well....another awesome model by this company.

Thanks for pictures of the Mustang. I plan to get one. I also have three of the Lincolns, including the one you showed.

Looking good Jack!   I've yet to pick up that 'Stang.

Not my favorite year of Mustang, but does look sharp. I will keep an eye out for it.

@grockwood Not my fave year Stang either.  I only like this era of Mustang as a Mach I with its level of trim/decals; otherwise it looks a bit plain IMHO.

@paul-rouffa Yes it really is something.  This brand, as shown on ebay postings, produces mainly racing oriented cars but also does late model American sport coupes and a few older American cars.  I'm hoping that they expand the latter category.

@jack-dodds I also wish they would do more older American cars. I believe their Lincoln has sold well. If they need suggestions, they can contact me. I know they won’t, but it sounds nice.

@ed-davis I would think that if they did a bunch of 50s and 60s American cars they would sell like hotcakes.  They could start with the 55 to 57 Bel Airs and Fairlanes!

@jack-dodds Though not made recently, nice looking models of 55 to 57 Bel Airs and Fairlanes were produced by Racing Champions, Ertl, and M2 from 2000 to about 2015. I still have a 1956 Ford and may have a 1957 Bel Air. M2 made a nice 1957 Fairlane. My choices would be 1955 to 1957 Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs, 1956 Lincoln, and 1957 to 1958 Mercury. I do not remember nice 1/64 scale models of these ever being made.

@jack-dodds I started collecting nice looking 1/64 scale cars and trucks in the late 1990’s to use with my 1/64 scale models trains. About 1/3 of them are on the train layout.

@ed-davis Interesting info, thanks.  I would concur with your stated choices but would go with the '53 and '55 years of Mercury instead.  A '55 Buick Century or Special 2drht. would be nice as well.

@jack-dodds All good choices, especially the Buick. I have in my 1/64 scale box a 1949 Buick and 1957 Buick. I do not remember other Buick’s from 1950’s in this scale. It does seem odd that more Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, and Buicks from 1950’s were not made in this scale, considering the 1950’s has always been a popular time period for model railroads.

@ed-davis I'm sure your layout looks cool.  A series of American trucks, especially 1960s era, would be great to see done in this scale by MiniGT as well.  I would buy every one of them.
