Greenlight has released a "Fifty years of Ford progress-1896-1946-Goldn Jubilee" 1/64 series. This 1946 Ford looks pretty darn good, but didn't Ford celebrate their Golden Jubilee in 1953 (1903-1953 )?
I guess this is just Greenlight marketing at work (?? ) But it makes me wonder, what else they might be releasing. Will we see a 1/64 Quadracycle, or perhaps a few Model T's, and some Model A's...?? 🤔 🤔 🤔
Perhaps they added in the the four years or so (1942-1945) that Ford did pretty much exclusively war production and Lend-Lease items and built things like B-24 Liberator bombers and tank engines at places like Willow Run, etc.

Yes, I do recall the steering wheel center of my 1953 Ford saying 50th Anniversary. I am tempted to buy this late 40s Ford by Greenlight as well; I THINK the light blue color was offered by Ford back in the day.....
It was a color not seen much at all in my neck of the woods as a kid; mostly dark red, dark blue, greys, beige and black as I recall. Anyway...I will get this Greenlight offering; thanks for the info.
I just received this model yesterday and have placed it with the DM model two door. I was amazed at the weight. I too was questioning the 50th anniversary on the package as Ford clearly acknowledged 1953 as their 50th anniversary not only on their cars but also their tractors. Would love to see Model Ts and As in this scale. I have restored eight 1/1 Model As and would love to see all of the various body styles done.
@jack-dodds Well, close enough.... we can "fudge" just a bit in 1/64 😜
I see that Greenlight have just released this one as a convertible with top up....but it is the Home Improvement Tim Allen version which is mildly rodded. That version is not for me but I hope this means that the stock looking version will be coming soon.
Actually, that "Home Improvement" version has been out for a while. GL also does a 1947 & '48 but none of their '46-'48 Ford convertibles have been released in "stock" form, yet. 😏 😏
