While I love the current highly detailed 1/64 models, my favourites go back to pre 1970. Here are a few.

Can you identify them?  The second one is #74, Mobile Canteen

Those are great old Lesney Matchbox models ! I love any of thr old ones I have, too. I have a curvy racing single-seat racing Jaguar in purple like the one you have, although it is made by Tootsietoy at their Chicago facility.

I had the D-Type and I think the refreshment stand. I had taken my Matchbox carrying case with most of my cars on a family road trip to Jamaica, NY to visit my sister in college. Someone broke into the car and took only my carrying case. The D-Type and refreshment stand were gone. The police told me I would get my "trains" back. I was not filled with confidence.

Although I remember them, I did not own any of the ones you show. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks David, the only one of these I had was the white Mustang. 😊

Those are nice.....    my favorites are right here.

As a child, I loved these the best.     Years later, I purchased them again as decent  examples.   Unlike Mike, who persevered his toys in remarkably outstanding condition, I destroyed 99.5% of mine - Matchbox & Hot Wheels cars included.    🙄 🙄 🙄

@chris

Nice selection Chris. I have all of these except that none-Lesney Cognot in silver and what looks like  Brumm Cognot in the rear. I like your display.

"....that none-Lesney Cugnot in silver..."

That's actually a one-of-a-kind 1/64 creation by the late Richard H. Feil (1920 - 2006) - he worked primarily with silver crafting several different historical replicas in various scales.   I'm lucky to have one.

I had the trailer, but the top came off. At some time, I threw it away. I still have the 60 Pontiac and 62 Ferrari. Paint is pretty much gone.
