To celebrate the July 4 holiday in the US, there was a warbird "fly-in" at the airport on my model train layout.  Here are some pictures.  The cars are 1/64 scale and the planes are 1/72 scale, all diecast.

The first picture has a P-51D (on left) made by Dragon Wings, and a P-51B (on right) made by Gemini Aces.  The cars from left to right are a Greenlight 1970 Pontiac GTO, a Greenlight 1968 Ford Mustang, and an Ertl 1961 Chevrolet Impala.

The second picture has a F4U Corsair made by Corgi.  The cars from left to right are a Racing Champions 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle, a Racing Champions 1978 Pontiac T/A, and an Ertl 1963 Ford Galaxie.

Enjoy the photos.
