Triumph Roadster 20TR and Triumph Vitesse Mk II.

Harv Goranson in the 1/43 Forum recently showed a Kiss 1948 Triumph 200 Roadster. This reminded me of the 1/76 version put out by the British company, Exclusive First Editions in the 1990s. This came in several colours along with a Triumph Vitesse Mk II. Here are examples.

David, do you have any photographs showing your model car collection? It must be very large.

Hi Ed,

Yes, I have images of the collection but it is spread out into several rooms and is semi-organized chaos. I have approx.1500 Jaguars and literally several thousand other models. About 80% of my collection is in storage bins and drawers. I envy some of our members who spread out and display everything.

I'll add a few pictures here so you get some idea. First three are at one end of the recreation room. The last three a few sections of my overcrowded model workroom.

Impressive! I must have one of the smallest collections of people on this forum. I think I have about 180 total, including 1/43 and 1/64 cars and trucks, 1/48 and 1/72 airplanes, 1/64 scale train locomotives and freight cars, and a few miscellaneous things.

Small is good Ed. It is a hobby for you, not an obsession. Mine really got out of hand when I bought up several collections, just for certain parts of them. While I traded and sold off a lot and it helped subsidize the main collection, I still have a lot of stuff that I did not intend collecting. All that is in storage, the stuff visible is the part I find interesting.
