Majorette was a French toy manufacturer that produced Matchbox-like models.

In the early 1990s I bought a significant number of racecats in their 200 Formula 1 Series.

These were all labeled as 1/55 scale. Here are four of them. They were first introduced in 1986.

The first pair are #268 Ferrari F1 and #232 F1 Brabham. The Brabham has a Brabhan copyright from 1984 on the base.

The second pair are #289 F1 McLaren with McLaren 1984 copyright and a #238 F1 Benetton.

All say Made in France on the bottom. These are just a few examples of the forty or more variations of Formula 1 cars made by Majorette. I don't have them all. Some like the Lotus and Tyrell are very hard to find.

Here are four more from the 1990s.

The first pair are different versions of the #268 Ferrari F1 and the #289 F1 McLaren.

The second pair are generic issues labelled #238 F1 Racing on the base.

More recently, Majorette got a little more realistic as shown by this Red Bull issue.(not mine)
