Just received the latest model in the HW Elite 64 series the Bugatti Type 59. This is the first historical vehicle in the series and comprises over 20+ pieces. Features include removable engine cover revealing engine details and Custom Real Riders spoke wheels.

As can be seen the blister card is nicely illustrated and packed in a Kar Keepers clamshell case. On the reserve the country of origin is stated as Italy but this car is actually French!

The SKU number is: HNJ62.

Eventually I will remove this model from the blister and take some photos then I would like to compare with the Matchbox Models of Yesteryears Bugatti Type 35 which is 1:48th scale.

Hey, that looks pretty good!  Here's some close-ups.

I'm sure there's 1/64 3-D printed wire or vintage spoke wheels available, somewhere....  if one was inclined to replace these wheels.

@chris Neat close-ups and it poses nicely outside Skaledale's Country Garage:

@chris Personally, I won't bother to replace the wheels with 3D printed ones as the rest of the detailing on this model isn't exactly on the fine scale range. Although the Elite 64 series is a Hot Wheels high point and carries with it a price hike above their other premium ranges such as Car Culture the detailing isn't on a par with other ranges such as MiniGT, Tomica Limited Vintage, Tarmac etc... However, relating to this Bugatti vintage GP car I don't think any other company would release such a model. Perhaps if this Bugatti is a success HW will issue similar vintage cars like Alfa Romeo P3.

The wheels might look better with a simple black wash.
