Lesney/Matchbox Jaguar 3.4 Litre (Mark I) (65-A)
Continuing with my review of Lesney/Matchbox Jaguar models in my collection, here is the Jaguar Mark 1 #.4 litre sedan in blue. This was introduced in 1959 and discontinued in 1961. In 1962 a somewhat larger improved casting with opening detailed engine in red replaced this blue one. More on that later.
65A came in four variations. Basically this involved crimped and rounded axles on two different coloured bodies, one blue and the other metallic blue. The wheels were grey plastic. The blue colour varied from dark to lighter as well as the metallic blue. I only show the rounded axles here.
