M2 "dioramas"

.... well, kind of.  More like "nicely done 1/64 vehicles with figures."   M2 has released Series 1 (c.12 different sets ) and they're not bad... decent looking cars with a few figures each.  MSRP is c.$15.00 I mention this because I've seen a couple at $500.00    I'm not sure why any seller would "dream"  like this, but.....

Anyway....   Here's a few examples:

I have also seen some of these, and agree with you that they are decent looking models. For those with opening doors, you just need to look at gaps when doors are closed before making purchasing decision.

Those look really good, both the models and the figures. I have a MotorMax 1/64 scale diorama, called "Saturday Morning" and it includes a partial garage, a 1949 Mercury and a figure polishing the vehicle in prep for a drive or maybe a local car show
