@chris Yes for sure......but I suspect it may have to do with the fact that there are two shades of dark red they used and also both metal and grey plastic wheels (if my memory serves me correctly).  My Matchbox collection, which I am still slowly adding to, is wrapped and stored presently so it would be hard to confirm.  In recent months I have been focusing on the Major and King Size series completion.....nearly have them all.

I have never posted on the 1/64 scale Forum before, not sure why not. I have over 1300 1/64 cars all in cases on the wall. Have a complete set of 1970 Matchbox Superfast cars in a original Matchbox wooden store display case. Have variations as well. Lots of vintage redlines, race sets, accessories, and alot of other cars as well. Have to post some pictures someday. Love the little cars !

That is an impressive collection, Randy. When you feel comfortable, it would be nice to see some of your pieces. This series shown here stops about 1970 with a few exceptions like this Rolls-Royce. The vast majority are pre-Speedwheels. There is a whole Matchbox era from 1970 that has as yet not been discussed here in this Forum.

@chris We can do some pictures. I not sure how to post pictures on this format. Is it as easy as using the attach files button below?

- Yes.

- Have your pics in a folder (computer ) or gallery (phone ) then simply hit "Attach Files."

- Select your desired pics (hold the "shift" key to highlight multiple pics from a computer ) or touch the dot(s) (if using a phone ).

- Then hit "open" (computer ) or select/send (phone ).

- Good luck, but it's easy-peazy! 😀 😀
