The other day I was looking at the Toycargeek website and came across a 1/64 scale car that caught my interest.  It was a Mitsubishi Starion from Tarmac Works.  This company was new to me, but with my interest in sports cars from Japan, I decided to buy the model.  The Starion was introduced in 1982, and was later sold by Plymouth, Dodge, and Chrysler dealers as the Conquest.   It competed with the Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX-7, and Toyota Celica/Supra.  Tarmac Works offers multiple lines of models under names HOBBY64, GLOBAL64, ROAD64, and a few others. Some come with a display case, and the models might have differing levels of detail.  The Starion  model I purchased is in the ROAD64 series and came with a display case.  Its price before shipping was $24.00.  Below you will find pictures.  The last picture shows rear window detail with defroster wires and rear window wiper.  If Dave Gilbert is reading this, I want to thank you for the quick service with my order.

Fine pictures of this one at the Gulf station ! The Starion looks great and is beautifully done in 1/64 scale by Tarmac Works.

Autoworld has released a 1/64 '86 Dodge Conquest, although your model is superior in detail & refinement.  At the time, a friend purchased a 1:1 new, he & his wife quickly became "disenchanted"  with their purchase. The car turned out to be nothing but headaches.
