Here is a Hot Wheels release of the "1/4 Mile Coupe". This supercharged Thirties style 2-door has what seems to be a powerful Hemi-type engine under it's now un-needed hood.

Mike was this model one of those earlier Hot Wheels specials? It is certainly a fine representation of a California custom.

Hi Chris : I think it may well have been. It certainly has the look of a Cali custom and they did it in several colors. I believe mine may be the first issue. It definitely would be a terror on the track with that supercharged hemi, although driving it around town or going to get the groceries might be a bit problematic !
