Here is a model 1958 Cadillac Eldorado that I got as a small kid getting very quickly filled up with some Texaco Fire Chief gasoline. The Cadillac is from Matchbox and the Texaco gas pump/coin bank is from Gearbox. Hmmm, I think the scale may be off a bit .....

Just a bit, but still a nice picture.

The pump represents the price of gasoline today compared to the price when the Cadillac was new.

@bob-jackman I was thinking that to take a L O N G trip in a 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty-Special one would need that MUCH gas.  😏 😏 😏

Oops, it's a Matchbox Sixty Special and the underneath text on the car has it correctly notated. This model used to be on my train layout as a kid, both the .027 American Flyer and Lionel H.O.

Mike, you said .027 American Flyer. Are you sure about that? I have only seen 027 associated with Lionel. I also had Lionel HO long ago.

Actually, my American Flyer train set dates from 1953 so you are right, I think it is probably S-Gauge that was my steam locomotive electric train layout. My Lionel diesel locomotive set from the late Fifties was H.O. scale, but I happily ran them at the same time on my layout, lol.
