Here is a 3.4 litre Jaguar sedan as done by Matchbox. I have had this one since I was small, MANY years ago ! It looks very good in this deep blue shade.

@mikedetorrice Hi Mike You certainly played very nicely with your toy cars given the superb condition this wonderful little model is in.

Really like the first two images with this old toy car placed in backgrounds depicting olde England! A nice touch with the added headlights in the image one.

You took nice care of this model, and it still looks good. The oldest models I have are about 30 years old, although some of my modeling tools go back to 1960’s. As usual, great photos.

I had this pastel blue version as a kid and of course ruined it.  I have it and the metallic blue ones in my current collection.

Thanks, all !

Chris, the background images in both the first two picture were taken within a block or two from here in Riverside, Illinois. The first one is actually an old English style rectory located just behind a small church with the parking lot and play areas for the 1893 elementary school, which is connect to the 1926 junior high and the 1955 auditorium in between. The second background is the addition that was added to our 1930 library, with the bend of the Des Plaines River covered in the photograph to look like a parking lot or road.

You're NOT kidding! I have NOTHING left, prior to age 15-ish,  except a Fisher Price wind-up radio, 2 pairs of baby shoes (my mom saved those ) and a dinosaur doll. I destroyed ALL my toy cars & trucks!

@chris-sweetman That's amazing. I do have one of those yellow Matchbox  car-holder trays; I've used it to hold Testors  paint jars for more than 40 years.
