After Mike's recent Matchbox Jaguar post and how nicely it has lasted over the years I am inspired to offer my childhood treasures.

Firstly, I have two of these Matchbox carrying cases which I have had for over 50 years! One has mainly Superfast and one regular wheels. This one has the Superfast and other fast wheel types:

Each case has four trays to hold 12 models so a total of 48 models can be held in safety.

To the left is the tray holding 12 Matchbox Superfast models from the early 1970's. How many can you name?

On the right the tray is holding a variety of manufacturers.

The top row are four Hot Wheels Redlines.

Middle row are four Corgi Rockets.

Bottom row - the first three are Matchbox and at the end of the row is a Corgi Junior.

Again can you name them?

Wow, that Superfast case looks superb, Chris ! It is in wonderful shape and holds a great selection of models. I would have a hard time naming them and maybe my younger brothers could help me on this ! I may see a Jaguar D-Type and a Ford GT. It is possible there is a 1966 Barracuda or Dodge Charger, but it might be some type of American fastback car from that era.

@mikedetorrice Hi Mike

There is a Dodge Charger, middle section third from the left, this is a concept made by Matchbox and back in the day I added the 'eyes' decal. Regarding American fastbacks there is an AMX Javelin, top section first left, next to this is a Mustang Boss Hoss both by Matchbox, then top section third from right, Hot Wheels Custom AMX, also bottom section second from right a Matchbox Ford Mustang Fastback with steering.

Unfortunately, there isn't a Jaguar D-Type but there is a Ford GT - this is a Group 6 version bottom row four from left #45.

Thanks for looking.
