WOW!!! I can't believe that this is possible. It makes me wonder where 1/64 will be in a couple of years. It appears that the model will be available in 4 colours with a total production run of 260-300. Apparently you have to write directly for a price. I read that a deposit of $40-75 depending on the colour is required upfront. I imagine these will be mucho $$$$s.
What, no working brakes or cup holders?
"OMG" seems to never more be appropriate than here. OH MY GOD!!
Incredible. It is very hard to believe this detail in this scale being produced in significant quantities.
@david-green I totally agree. A whole new world opening up in model car collecting.
1/64 scale is just too small for me, but this is very impressive. I wonder how small the hands are that assemble these models? Certainly steadier hands than mine.
@gdh Trying working with N-scale........ 1/160 😉 😉 😉 Notice the firewall mounted master brake cylinder on the white #44 race car? 😉 😉
GLAD TO SEE YOU GUYS ARE AS IMPRESSED - and BLOWN AWAY - by THESE 1/64 fine-scale-replicas as I AM! HOLY SMOKE, right? "People, we are THROUGH THE looking glass!" 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬
@david-green David, I couldn't agree more. I could make a model like this, but it would TAKE ME MANY, MANY months. To "mass produce" something like this, however, would be beyond my skill set & devotion - there's simply NO way.
This is really FINE ART - more than a scale model. 😲 😲 😲
@chris The first pic immediately brought to mind how much more fun Monopoly would be, with the green one and its cohort, the yellow one, as tokens.
