Here's a quiz - not April Fools. Four cars scanned from some old 16 mm film my Uncle's parents shot! 1930-40s. Can you ID any of them? The 2 big sedans are Lincolns, it looks like to me...

The last one looks like a Lincoln Zephyr.

Yes, I think so too. And the other sedan at the white house may be a 1948 Lincoln.

I agree with the Zephyr and Lincoln views. Â I also believe B/W photo' is a 1938 Buick 2-door sedan due to very square boot, with centrally placed number plate and little upright, integrated rear fender lights.

What about the woody? Is it a Ford?

@karl I think the woody is a '39 / 40 Mercury or Ford due to the sloping inset headlamps - other manufacturers have the headlamps more upright. Â However I have doubts as the Fords to my knowledge don't have the grooved fenders and the rooves are flatter.

The Plymouth has the grooves in the lower fenders (from other photos) so I think you nailed it - D Crowe!!! Â
