I think for '59 automobile styling was a most interesting year.  Fins reached their greatest heights and extremes and also history shows they were on their way out after this year.

On a personal level for me, '59 saw my parents separate, get divorced, and myself and three siblings ended up in separate foster homes for the next four years.  My childhood was not a comfortable one, as living with three different foster homes did not provide me with a sense of belonging.  My love of cars and pro wrestling became my drugs to cope with the world.

Wow what a shame George. Coming from a home full of love I can't imagine the pain you must have gone through. I for one am glad you were able to overcome such challenges to become the man you are and the source of entertainment you provide here on the forum. Merry Christmas to you and everyone here on the forum.

Thank you Bob!  Though in hindsight my childhood was not a pleasant memory, I was able to come out of it not letting it make me a bad or bitter person.  It was important for me to be the best husband I could be and the best father I could be for our daughters.  I've always believed that life's experiences are to learn from.  And no, I'm not perfect, but I do try to be the best person I can be.  Again thank you Bob, for the kind words and Merry Christmas to you as well.  The greatest blessing that God gives us all is friends.
