I am undoubtedly biased but I always liked the smaller size of the Canadian Pontiac better and also preferred the Canadian tail end post war through 1954. They just seemed sportier to me.  I guess it just boils down to what you were familiar with; although I do still like the American Pontiacs very much.  MY position on this was severely shaken a year or two ago by a certain Forum member who brought to my attention how awkward the narrower Chevrolet chassis appeared on the "wide track Pontiac" body, starting I believe in 1959.  Sadly, now whenever I see one of these Canadian Pontiacs I immediately think of this shortcoming.  Lol.
