What a shame it didn't get produced.

I've always liked the AMX and Javelin.

Bought my father's '73 Javelin when he retired, gorgeous to look at in bright red, had a 360 cu in engine in it.  What a pile of junk. Couldn't get out of it's own way; ran much better once I removed all the pollution junk but when you gave it a lot of gas the whole front end shook, I thought the fenders would fall off.  The only other car I ever rode in that did that was a 'well used '69 Vette.  But it looked sharp so I gave it to my wife to drive it, within 6 months the transmission went bad; had it fixed and promptly sold it.

10 73 Javelin

The only pic I have of it with my 2 daughters.

Thanks JK, an interesting car and history. I think I remember a magazine feature years ago about this car being found at a Northern Michigan farm.
