Tomorrow is the Cobble Beach Concours d' Elegance on Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada.
A lesser event today was the Concours d' Lemons in which misfit cars, for one reason or another were on display and judged in Owen Sound.
Here is the 1975 Bricklin SV1 which was in magnificent condition, but part of that show.
This one, built in New Brunswick, Canada is powered by a Ford Windsor 351 V8. Unfortunately, all my pictures are of the car with everything open.
Inside the hatchback there was a miniature display. Models shown are of cardboard, distributed by Bricklin dealer.
I like these pictures, even though I'm not familiar with the car. I especially appreciate that fun-filled display! Thanks for the good post, David.
Thanks for the photos. I still remember the car.

Wow! With a 351 in there, I'll bet that thing screams.

A friend had a Bricklin. I never saw a worse pile of ill-fitting parts in my life.
@bob-jackman I agree Bob; plus it was an unattractive design. Many here in Canada believe that the businessman behind this car, Malcolm Bricklin, was a scammer who persuaded the government of the province of New Brunswick into bankrolling his ill-fated venture.
I've ridden in a few. Bob is correct. I had a friend who bought one new. He said you paid for an assembled car and received what amounted to a kit. It needed so much work to make everything fit and even then, there were body panels and interior parts that just didn't fit well. The doors were a nightmare from the start, and when production ceased, the rams were impossible to find.
