The car was produced after the war in Pontiac Michigan and delivered to Wasserburger Pontiac in Crawford, Nebraska. Driven by Delores until 1992 when Eli passed away and the dealership was sold. Stored in the dealership garage from 1992 to 1996 when it was given to Delores’s granddaughter who had learned to drive in it. 239 Cubic inch engine - 3 speed on the tree"

This warmed-over '42 was a dream car for many. No new cars were produced for the public from January 1942 until late 1945. This Pontiac was high fashion in '43 and buyers were lined up when it came out in the '46 version. Good one! Now see if this 1942 picture looks similar. (Click on it for enlargement.)
Thank you John for the video share, my grandfather had this car back in the day. When the interior came into view I instantly recalled the old car smell that was common back then.
