once again, just to see what they looked like. I've never been a fan of this generation mostly due to the really fat fenders and hood. But the real surprise is the last photo that, in my opinion, completely changes the personality of this car.
As found:
With a very slight section at the beltline to lower the hood profile. Also lowered slightly:
Pancaked the hood to further lower its profile:
More section, slight chop, further lowering, some bumper work and a wheel/tire change:
See what I mean regarding the personality change?
As always, your courteous comments are invited.
Enjoy!

The 1946-48 Chevrolet is one of those solid-looking automobiles that looks good in many styles and forms, as here. The next generation Chevys also could look great in many forms.
I like pic #2 the best but they are all well done. This body style was popular with hot rodders; I got to see the tail end of this era in the early 60s.
I really like what you've done with all three modification pics. I like the original car but #2 even better. #3 is not quite as nice and #4 loses too much of the originality of the car. For my money I'd go with pic #2. WELL done!!
As you might guess, I like the as found the best but #2 is a close second.
