.........Johnny Weismuler (sp) absconds from the Central Florida jungle with a street gang of Moon Elves clad only in office supply uniforms.

.........If you share just one heartfelt blockbuster with the family this season, better make it "Johnny Boffo and the curiously minuscule Moon Men"

Last week some channel ran a Tarzan marathon. One strange one had him in New York.

..."me bring Jane keyring from Tiffany"......kinda funny how he never carried skins of grapejuice as he traveled...

I remember those movies, particularly the one with him in NYC. They were captivating! I never stopped to wonder how a lone man in the jungle yelling like a Swiss Mountain climber could summon all sorts of animals and get them to do exactly what he wanted. Were there nuances in Tarzan's yell? Did Tarzan speak several animal languages? Did the animals have a common language? Furthermore, once he came to North America, how were the animals in the circus near NYC able to understand Tarzan and their English-speaking masters? After watching John B's movie above, I have to wonder who was smarter, the animals or Johhny W! These things are trying to my suspension of disbelief and haunt many sleepless hours late into my evenings.

Yes sir, I feel your pain. One stupid scene in the New York film, had him, previously dressed in a business suit and tie, take a shower, once he learned what it was for - IN the suit!! That's when the channel got changed.

Good grief, man, where have you BEEN? I'm living 40 feet underground and even I am familiar with the MJMM meme. You need to emerge from your pink and green filter bubble and get back in the real world. (Sorry, don't mean to sound harsh).

Perhaps since you mentioned pink and green somebody still thinks this is 1959...

Well...I am shattered and resign myself to join the ranks of the midget jungle moon men, hopefully, after they are through with being tied up by the monkeys.
Note to self: Cancel my totally inadequate Netflix account and find a premium channel with more up-to-date programming. Perhaps FX has more MJMM content?
