Things are happening so fast in the automotive world that it is hard to keep score without a play list.
The cars of the future may eventually come without steering wheels, except for one that is detachable, foldable, stored in the trunk and used much like a spare tire in an emergency.
Amazing stuff for sure but I sure hope the significant changes to traditional driving (i.e. driverless cars) come along in force after I am gone. I see the sense of electric cars of course but can't get excited about the rest of it all. Too entrenched in tradition I suppose.
I hope that Apple keeps this on in the parking lot Frank. Innovative for sure, but I am not comfortable with driverless cars at this point. Besides, one of the great joys in live is driving on the open road, controlling your own vehicle with your own muscle movements, not voice. I've driven a few electrics and so far, that is as innovative as I wish to be.
We already have driverless cars...now if they would just get off of their phones when they're behind the wheel.
I have ZERO problem with any of these "into the future" cars. My ISSUE is with that dude continually SLAMMING DOORS!
