The Aurora was an American automobile imagined, planned, and eventually built by Father Alfred A. Juliano, a Catholic priest, from 1957 to 1958. The Aurora is arguably the first Experimental Safety Vehicle ever made, even as safety was slowly becoming pushed into American automobile production. For more information, see:

and there are several short films about it, such as:
This one-off experimental car interests me. Has there ever been a scale model offered for sale?

A very unusual car. You could not mistake this for anything else on the road. Too bad Aurora Model Company didn't make a 1/25 plastic model of the Aurora automobile !
To this I would say "Amen".....
As a fan of concept and prototype cars, this is one UGLY car !!!
Model? Even one is too many.
Actually, it would make a more interesting model than many of the generic, look-alike, boring vehicle items that have come our way in recent years. Soon they will be small, computer-driven (only) lumps powered by tiny windmills and green fairy dust and costing $45,000 per item (if you get approval from the authorities).
