Remember that some time ago I replied that it would be very unlikely for me to spot a new Ford GT in the flesh here in the Netherlands ?
Well, seems like the almighty helped me on this.
This morning I went to Ford Zaandam Dekker Groep in Zaandam, to see Mr. Dekker's newest aquisition; a brand new 2021 Heritage Edition.
Mr. Dekker just turned 90 years old and he owns a Ford dealership since 1923.
When the GT was introduced a couple of years ago, he enlisted but was turned down by Ford.
This year he tried again and to his surprise, he got a call that he could buy the Heritage Edition.
Here it is, in all its splendour.
But see what's also in his showroom.
I couldn't resist buying the Miasto 1:18-scale-version.
But come to thing of it, this car is made of carbon-fiber, right ?
And that attracts lightning, right ?
Glad this car is fast.............
Joop, to avoid damage to your model I suggest keeping it inside during storms. A friend of mine, also a Ford dealer, bought a GT two years ago.
