With 50 years of marriage coming around for Lorraine and me after the first of the next year, naturally thoughts of how long our journey will be, before it ends, come to mind. We made a promise before and to God on January 12, 1974 to remain together forever. But how long is forever? We're older now and each day becomes less a certainty. Hearing this song, I think it says it best. I'm aware that as we age, one of us will eventually leave. Not planning to, but only God knows. I tell Lorraine every morning, "I love you". I remind her every day many times, "I love you". And every night before we go to sleep I tell her, "I love you". I also tell her that if some day I'm no longer here, "I still love you". I teared up as I listened to this song. It says exactly what I want to say. I LOVE YOU! And yes, reality says, some day, I'll be "A Picture In A Frame". Life is precious, hug and cherish the one you love!

Wonderful George. Lori and I were blessed in June to celebrate 58 years of marriage and I can honestly say she has always been my best friend and confidant.

CONGRATULATIONS Bob! We find it so refreshing when he of these monumental anniversary's and we're feeling blessed that we too, are looking forward to a monumental one ourselves.

Thanks George for posting a really great song here.
I love the fact that I can understand every word cuz it's so clearly spoken or sung and there's no nasty words in it. I can't even stand to listen to some of the new stuff that's coming out today.
My music will always be based in the past and I have no regrets about that. I lived through some of the best music ever being that I'm 70 years old and I've seen and heard some of the greatest bands that were ever around.

Thank you! Great to hear you still have your mom with you. Cherish every moment. On that one, I didn't have the best situation. But I made the most of it and did the best that I could.
