I found a model I do want, and this is the only one in the EU, but the windshield appears to be scratched and a bit foggy.  Is there a way to 'polish' out the scratches?  I am clutching at straws, here, as this is the only one available at a reasonable price.

Here ya go, works beautifully. You can get the set, or the individual bottles based on your needs.😊

@geno   I think I may have just bought another Rolls.  Thank you, Geno!

you may even try a little toothpaste, as this is in fact also a polish, be it a very mild one.

Geno's method would work just fine, but if you have "deep scratches"  aggressive sanding would be required followed by incremental levels finer & finer polishing - it's a lot of labor!  😬 😬

Honestly, for a scale windshield such as that (relatively flat ), I'd simply fashion a new one from clear plastic sheet of the appropriate thickness found at craft & hobby stores.    OR - just find a better model; it looks like that one's missing a wiper too and God knows what else.  😳 😳

I’ve used toothpaste to polish out minor scratches on clear parts over 60yrs ago !

@chris Yes, he did mention the wiper before I spotted it.  The only others available are in the UK and in addition to very high prices, there is the issue of eBay shipping and customs fees, which add up to a very significant three figures.  I did ask him what his best price might be and I am waiting for his response.

The Novus 3 works great for the heavy scratches. Actually the whole set is nice to have, for clear or painted surfaces.😊

Agreed!   I use automotive wax & compounds, but this set is as good or better!    😉 😀    For decades I used actual Bondo,  but for my last few projects I switched to Tamiya putty - it's not cheap, but it's far less messy, dries rock hard on plastic AND metal, and can be filed to any shape.

 😫 2-part BONDO:

 😀 1-part Tamiya putty:

Thanks for the tips, gentlemen, and I will get the materials suggested by Geno, and if I do get the model I will just try a dab of toothpaste on the glass, as a test.
