A word about content, folks.
The Lounge has a lot more readers than those who post. We are a diverse lot. Because of that diversity and the varying opinions of our readers, we've always kept politics out of the postings. We're here to talk about cars, models and the occasional odd subject or interesting topic. We can save the arguments and flame-outs for other venues. It just makes others feel uncomfortable and promotes tension. So, let's dispense with name calling, political rants and angry diatribes. It's been a long time since I've had to delete a post but I will if we stray into those areas.
Thanks for being part of the Lounge. We've made it an oasis and it should remain a place to rest, share, have some fun and find some peace from the madness on the web.

100% in agreement!
Its nice to realize that Forum folks care about important topics that have impact on our lives and future. It is true however that political discussions (to name one area) inevitably end up in heated emotional exchanges, even with the best of intentions; which was obviously the case here today. None of us are immune from the occasional rant and it is good to vent; but as JK mentioned the Forum is about our beloved cars and associated material.
Agree.
Very well said JK.
But I have great admiration for all politicians...
...Stan & Laurel, Larry, Moe & Curly, Amos & Andy, Manny, Moe & Jack...
Lol... And let's not forget their attorneys 'Dewey, Cheatem & Howe'.
You are on point about remaining on point, Thanx.
...and Ditcher, Quick & Hyde
That kind of behavior is why I went over to JSS a long time ago. No nastiness at all!!
I've only just worked that out.
Lol. I can relate....
