When I fired up my PC this morning, imagine my surprise when I saw the daily "Search suggestion" on the toolbar was offering something quite unexpected. Strangely enough, this didn't show up on my lady wife's PC at all. I suspect someone may have hacked into my "Mental Health Monitor" app to send me this targeted search item.
Anyway, I followed it up and found news of an interesting event that I didn't know was taking place.
Apparently they meet twice a year to pay their respects to the cultural icon which has become the centrepiece of their lives. Some were attending as a simple act of devotion. Several couples were on a blind date. And a few recent recruits had come along just to get the feel of things.
The proceedings began with an inspirational speech by a senior member (known to his friends as "Jakie Vee") on the theme of "Never lose your faith in the healing power of Pink and Green. Stand up for your beliefs. Be a man, not a mouse!"
This was particularly well received by those attendees with secret anthropoid aspirations, and left everyone in a happy mood.
Meanwhile, in the Inner Sanctum . . .
So it appears this was a successful and productive event for all concerned - but I get the feeling that some of you are feeling just a tad disturbed by all of this.
Let me put your mind at ease . . .

Oh NUTS! The Men in Black 'event erase' isn't working - I can still see the pink and green car. Please, let it stop!!
The healing power of Pink and Green? It is my hope to never get that sick.
Well, at this point, for the benefit of any newcomers to this forum, it might be worth reiterating that the Pink & Green Chevrolet is an extraordinary work of exuberant creativity, a paradigm-shifting automotive style artifact, and an iconic example of vibrant artistic expression which has undoubtedly had a polarising effect on all those who encounter it.
Certain members of the forum fraternity, perhaps blessed with a more sophisticated artistic palate, have joyfully embraced its unique aesthetic appeal, in defiance of the sometimes negative reaction of fellow collectors.
Unfortunately, they have paid a heavy price.

"Unfortunately, they have paid a heavy price."
So true, perhaps one day these advisories will extinguish their animosity. Oh, be joyful for the mere prospect of future unification and righteous peace throughout the land - harmony awaits!
John Kuvakas, you have knowingly or unknowingly launched a pink and green virus that will not go away. Graeme Ogg is just its latest victim, currently delusional.
