Jack Lemmon said he learned all about comic timing from being a member of the Nairobi Trio. Me too; some of my biggest laughs on stage came from standing still.

@paul-rouffa, what sort of nefarious end did your predecessor come to in order for you to take his place? Perhaps a "collapsing scaffold?" Or, maybe an errant sandbag counterweight? What's the story? And how did you come by the moniker "The most dangerous understudy in all theater."

HA! Fred (RIP) was a restless sort and just went on to do another play. I decided to stay on for the months and months and months and months of hitdom.
