My dads first new car that I remember was a 1953 Ranch Wagon, it ran ok until 1959.

@jack-dodds

Thanks, Jack, my dad always went by "Jack".

Ours was brown and I've been working on this for months..

A plastic kit of a 2 door hardtop mating the wagon body of resin is a nightmare but it's  finally coming together.

I bought a 1956 Victoria in 1960. It was a great car who I bought from my high school English Literature teacher. The car had the safety package and factory A/C. Sold it when I went into the Navy.

In 1956 my Dad bought a '56 Ford Fairlane Town Sedan. We had the car until '61, no repairs , just normal maintenance. A fine car. It looked very much like this one.
