Excellent ! I am glad to see these cars and the fact that some places are bringing back their car shows. It is LONG overdue.

My gosh, the XK120 thru 150 Jags were stunning; incredible design for their era weren't they?!

Great pictures!  My brother had the convertible version of the '53 Ford, including that fake continental kit on the back.  I don't know if it was a Ford option or just an addition.  The Clipper is a dreamboat!   Thanks for the post, Ed.

Davis..I am a Chicago resident ( NW Oriole Park). Sorry I missed the Barrington show. Great car show also every Thursday 6-9 at the Jewel Plaza Foster/Harlem, some classic, mostly 60-90. Lots of new Corvettes.

@randtheman

I am familiar with your area.  I have a friend who lives near Foster and Cumberland.  Also, back in the 1970s I started many car rallyes at the Harlem Irving shopping center.  it would be nice to talk, my email is edwardbdavis@sbcglobal.net

A convertible version of the 1953 Ford - I wish Brooklin would do one.

David the tire on the trunk was called a Coronado Kit and was a Ford accessory. The 1953 Indy Pace car was a convertible and it had this kit.
