Will be sold out for 18 months once it begins production. Prices start at $300,000 but will go considerably higher from there.

Yep! Saw this a year ago and lost my mind. FINALLY! After decades of lagging behind, Cadillac now has a chance to regain lost glory and at least be a contender in world markets. It's doubtful this vehicle will, alone, re-claim Cadillac's "Standard of the World" fame, however, it will, without question, lay the groundwork for such discussions. Being a Cadillac fan (and owner) I'm very excited! It's a remarkable AMERICAN effort!

@chris, I agree. I think it's great to see them taking chances on their styling. As we all know, the buyers in that hyper-high-dollar segment are demanding and have tastes that run in unconventional directions, at least to our eyes. I'm thinking of the current Rolls Royce design language, not to mention vehicles like the Bentley Bentayga. They also place a premium value on the interiors. Cadillac seems to have nailed that part pretty well.
