This is the second set of photos of cars from my recent visit to Cuba.

Early 50s Buick

1954 Buick

DSC 2003

1955 Buick - Pink is a popular color in Cuba for these cars

1956 Ford

DSC 2199

Late 40s Ford - I am making a guess on this one.

Early 50s Plymouth

DSC 2093

1955 Plymouth

DSC 2230

1958 Plymouth - More Pink

DSC 2152

1955 or 1956 Dodge

DSC 1994

1958 DeSoto - At least the front looks like a DeSoto, the rear fenders look more like a Plymouth

DSC 1935

1957 Chrysler - I had a ride in this one.  One thing unusual was it had the original engine and transmission.

Finally, some miscellaneous pictures

The 40 Plymouth looks like the car used in Grease.

Great, thanks for posting these pictures, Ed!

Couple of comments - the green Buick is a '60, not a '59; and the gold Plymouth is a '55.

Love to see these '50s cars still being used as daily drivers!

Really interesting American cars. Lol, I imagine there are not very many Soviet cars (for some good reasons !) Wink

@moe-parr

Thanks for your comments. I corrected the years for the Buick and Plymouth in the post.

This blue one is actually a late 40s Ford.   See the recent post in the 43rd forum for the AMT kit of a coupe version of this.   And yes, this era of Ford was in Grease.

@karl

It sure was. I also got a tour of a car museum in Havana. More photos to come. There is an Alfa there.

A Cuban car in 43rd scale. A 1956 Ford Fairlane sedan with Taxi Jose livery.  A DelPrado item.
