ENJOYING MY COFFEE with Thoughts and Prayer...
I've learned through my 70 years on the planet that life is a photo album of fleeting moments and memory's. Many good and some bad, but all of them a rear-view mirror reflection of where I've been.
As I see the roads I've traveled, it's a reminder of successes and failures I've had, chances I've taken and those I didn't. I've got a box of hindsight crammed full of experiences that got me to the moment I'm in right now. It's a realization that most often when I felt I was in control, the honest reality was, I wasn't in control at all.
Each day lived has been a piece of a puzzle that is titled, "My Life". I've had regrets, sadness, and so many blessings, all that have made who I am, Me. My past can't be changed, nor can my future be known, and today is the only day I have. Another opportunity to take lessons from all the pictures in my mind, knowing that I'd not be here without each and every one of them.
My life is family, friends, random people, who I've laughed with and cried with. Some of them are close, some have moved on, and some are gone. But all of them have been on this ride through life with me. All of them are a piece in my puzzle.
Each new dawn while giving thanks and having gratitude for all that I have, I'm aware that without this photo album of fleeting moments and memory's, I wouldn't be me.
Thank you God for this day. Walk with me as I try to get it right. And if I fail to get it right, maybe grant me another tomorrow to try again.
