Thanks Jack, it took about a year to put it together.  I did everything but the headliner and upholstery.  Here are a few more pics of it at a car cruise in "trip" mode and the interior.

I loved when Dad brought home a brand new '63 Country Squire in Vintage Burgundy.  That and the White '59 Impala were my all time favorites.

I love the color Pete. Where'd you take those pics Pete at the Orange county fairgrounds or at Pomona ?

Personally I LOVE the rally rims on this car in your restoration pic.  Not stock I realize but man they sure add to its looks.

The burgundy color you mention is my favorite '63 Ford color too.  I especially like it on the '63 1/2 Galaxie 500XL fastback.  I have just that model and color in 1:43...it's by SPARK.

THANK YOU EVERYONE for sharing all the great station wagon stories and photos!  In my opinion station wagons were far better looking and riding than any of todays SUV's.  Seriously, I do!

That roofline is a k.o. imo. I've got the Sunstar 1/18th.

Never owned a station wagon or SUV and have no interest in them.  I'm a sedan and coupe guy.  Lexus ES350 and BMW 325ci 2-door.  Lots of convertibles in my earlier days.
