The 1956 OLSDMOBILE is simply a beauty on wheels. Best looking DASHBOARD of any 50's car in my opinion.

The 98 was far better proportioned in 1956 than the 88 IMO.

@bob-jackman ABSOLUTLY correct Bob. The longer wb and longer rear section gave the 98 a much better profile. Cadillac had the same issue in 1958 with "SDs" Short Deck 1958 Cadillacs just looked stupid with that "cut-off" or shortened rear treatment. Classic "3 box" design always looks best when the front length is equal to (or very close to) the rear length. Afterall, not every car can be a Mustang..... 😏 😏 😏

I prefer the '55 Olds but agree with you about the dash.
