I used to work as software engineer for Siemens ultrasound division, and as you can imagine some developers had a dark sense of humor embedding inappropriate messages deep in the lower levels code that would ”never reach the customer”. Well until, one of these warning messages popped on the screen during OB exam, stating “Abort in process” or something like this. Then the managers scrambled to get the system retested for stuff like this. I personally found a message and reported it as a bug: “I am dying here … starting to throw up exceptions!”. The responsible developer was already in deep water for his erratic work culture, but he was just too good to be fired, he laughed, and said “the patient will never see this”, he still changed the code. I loved that job…
Lol, my youngest sister is a big emergency room nurse back in Buffalo New York that third panel of cartoon is absolutely hysterically funny

The cartoon is bit outdated, these days they just need to plug Alexa in the OR. I can imagine the next Super Bowl commercial: the nurse says: doc, “this the the wrong leg”; Alexa: “Connecting you to: Are you totally lost? on Surgery.com”
