What's to say? The future is here, plug in...let's go! Seems like in the not-so-distant future, 500-700hp will be seen as "mild." I feel proud just knowing this is an American car! 😎
no,.... electrics will stay, alongside the ICE and hydrogens.....and what the future may bring on new engines....

Exactly right. EVs are no fad...just ask ALL vehicle manufactures/tier 1-6 suppliers who have, collectively, invested billions (if not more). Like it or not, right or wrong, etc, etc... EVs are here to stay.
I looked at Ford's new all-electric F150 Lightning today. Beautiful truck, but it only has a 300-mile range according to the salesman. The price was scary: $112K after a $20K dealer markup. It was a frightening Lightning!
@pete-rovero ...yeah, there's still a robust (although drown from its peak) demand for automobiles; "deals" are hard to come by. Guys like me (who will haggle/hammer out/demand the lowest possible pricing) have been laughed at for years now.
If you want a new ("popular") vehicle, be prepared to pay "sticker" or beyond...in MOST cases $2-$40K beyond!
