As a teenage car lover I found myself doodling and trying to draw cars the way Big Daddy Ed Roth did. Remember Rat Fink car-toons? Examples:

Smile He was great ! "Fink" is a word that seems to have become lost in time.

Funny, but even as little kid I found these to be silly. True enough, the artwork is superb... but I never found the distorted proportions of the cars to be a source of amusement. I know many people like these, but I never did.....depsite actually owning several of the cars pictured including that 1968 Plymouth 2-dr hardtop.

I recall that  "fink" was the term used for a tattle tale (noun) or to rat somebody out (verb).  You definitely did not want to be labelled a "rat fink".  Lol.

I recall many such wild looking figures on T-shirts and of course posters back in the day.

Didn't they had trading cards that came with bubble gum?

@chris I am with you on this subject.  Never cared for the art and depictions.  Even though I thought they were really well done.
