Has anyone bought any diecast from China or Japan ??. Wondering about extra import and custom charges besides high cost of postage.

I have bought from all over the world, US doesn't charge anything. Recently eBay started collecting taxes on international purchases but you would able to see these at checkout and they are in the range of state sales taxes. Hope that helps.

I've never paid any extra fees for purchases from China. Several on this forum have made buys from Hong Kong on a regular basis.
My experience as well....fast shipping too.

I make purchases from China regularly. No extra fees have ever been added. Shipping can be reasonable as well, just shop around. Fairly quick delivery compared to other parts of the world. The Russian Federation and Germany can take a long time.
I’ve only ordered once from Japan recently, no issues. The experience was similar to China.
