With the shut down across the world many businesses have been struggling to stay in business and many people continue to struggle in their own lives due to lack of product that may have affected their own jobs, lack of computer chips is really hurting the new car market, we have dealers with only a handful of new cars on their lot and that is it. Other businesses are struggling as well trying to get product.
The Diecast market is no different and companies are struggling as well trying to get product and prices are raising. Fairfield has a notice on their web page explaining some of the issues they are struggling with.
We all have our cut off points on what we can justify and pay for our hobby, hopefully those that visit this forum can continue to support these companies within each of our own budgets and I know some will have to cut back because there are certain things that have to be done to take care of family and family has to come first.
To the companies that I purchase Diecast from thank you for the efforts you have made to continue to be there for the community of collectors, I understand the struggle you are going though and I have done what I can to support you with purchases.
I don't know about the rest of you but in my view it is time to reopen the world and start living again and letting people get back to their lives so the economies can start working again.
I totally agree with you.
I mostly buy my models from Robert Budig in Berlin (I live in the Netherlands) with an occasional one from an other seller.
His shop is physically closed for many months now.
I hope I can support him until people come to their senses and start living normal lives....
