Just caught this on the BBC News website.

I expect it has already been widely viewed in the U.S, but I thought I'd post it anyway, just for fun.

Who among us has not dreamed of doing this when we see any ramp-type object by the side of the road? 😱 😱

Just make sure the passenger and luggage load is well-balanced so the car stays level in flight rather than tipping over. While airborne, keep your feet off the pedals, maintain a firm hold on the steering and (if time allows) extinguish any cigarettes or vapes. Do NOT attempt to give hand signals or take selfies. Then you'll be fine. Trust me on this.

Note: Afterwards, there may be a requirement for one or more shocks to put things back in proper working order. (These will normally be administered by skilled paramedics.)

sorta reminded me of this classic. Although there was a lot of negative about the pop whistle effect, composer John Barry saying later he wished he'd never included it. A one take stunt, but I guess it sorta had to be?

Two things:

1) As John noted...Β  I'd say that's probably pretty accurate. I'm a true acrophobic but even I have "thought about it."Β  Β Or at least driving up the ramps of a 9-car hauler semi. πŸ€”Β

2) I had to laugh at this quote from that article, "It's not yet clear what the direct cause of the crash was but police told local media the accident is a good example of the importance of observing Georgia's Move Over Law."

IMO (..and assuming that driver was sober ) I'd seek legal conseil despite Georgia's Move Over Law.Β  There were NO FLASHING lights on that wrecker, NO Police cars diverting traffic behind that wrecker, there was NO need to even have the ramp down in that location (on the highway ).

This might have been high but the end result sure was low. Driver must have panicked and froze at the wheel.
