Red Hawks are viracious eaters; we have thousands of them in east TN. Squirrels, rodents and small mammals are all on their menu.

raccoons ?         will Red Hawks do the deed on your uber-truculent raccoon mob boys?

"rodents and small mammals are all on their menu."

................how many pages comprise their menus? are there pictures and games on the back for the baby birds to color?

................could what we saw as an act of aggression have been nothing more sinister than Red Hawk`s efforts to place a menu on Eddie`s dashboard?

This is why you never see a cat driving a convertible with the top down.

Oh would it be so. But, no, an adult raccoon is too large for a red hawk. A baby, maybe.

if these bird killers are serious about improving their public image.....leaving babies OFF the next menu printing would go so far in the right direction

They might take a lesson from the black snakes and copperheads of the region. Though disliked, their positive menu claim to fame is keeping the surplus population of mice and rats in check.  Serious

Eddie displayed a remarkable reserve when the hawk first struck....as if he deals with this every day......" don`t jump, don`t run, head CALMLY to the dashboard"
