Nice Chav. Two of my neighbours have this model in the same colour. Both are very pleased with it as it having had it for several months. One had a Tesla S previously.

This was not the car I wanted to buy for this money. I've been a frugal person all my life, except for model cars; I believed new luxury cars are waste of money (especially for a car guy) so traditionally I was buying new cars (not luxury) that someone else in my family would drive and when cars got old, I took them.... BTW, with raging inflation my frugality went down the toilet ...  I did select this car for my wife and my plan was to take her 2011 Subaru Forester. My wife is a scientist, progressive person, and very dedicated professional, who deserves the best. She is also frugal and hates clutter (especially my full of junk basement and garage). I believed the Tesla Y would be a perfect car for her and still believe so. What I underestimated was how much she dislikes Elon combined with range and speed anxiety. Plus, she feels somewhat guilty that I never bought a car for me and since I was excited about the Tesla, she felt that I should drive it.... and I am Ok with that although I would've preferred a different car for this price ...

Ah yes, I just love scratch-dent-dust-dirt-rust-bird-crap-free new cars! Enjoy the "smell," Chav!

Except the new smell, I absolutely love the drive (instant and powerful acceleration, subtle "turbinelike" motor noise, regenerative breaks, responsive steering) and the keyless operation. There are however many things I don't like: noisy cabin, the stiff suspension along with few rattles are annoying on the bad Michigan roads, few small misalignments of the exterior panels. These issues are well known with Teslas and I was aware of them, I can live with them but hard to justify the luxury car price.... My biggest surprise: the utilitarian interior and the central control screen don't bother me as much as I thought they would.
